Our editorial policy commits us to publishing only what we can support. This page covers what happens after publication: how articles are dated, how errors are corrected, and where corrections are logged.

Every article is dated

Articles carry a published date and a "last updated" date. When we revise an article in a way that changes its substance — not typo fixes or wording polish — the last-updated date moves. Undated content is how stale advice keeps circulating, and in a space where facts shift under you, a date is part of the claim.

Material corrections are noted

If we published something factually wrong — a wrong price, a misstated detector capability, a claim that did not hold — we fix the text and note the correction on the article itself, rather than silently editing history. Minor fixes that do not change the article's substance are made without a note.

Detector and pricing facts get re-checked

Some facts on this site decay on their own. Detector capabilities change: Turnitin updated its AI detection model in 2026, which is exactly why an accurate statement about a detector last year can be wrong this year. Competitor pricing changes without announcement. Facts in these categories are re-checked on a recurring schedule, and articles are updated — with the date moved — when the underlying fact has moved. Per our testing methodology, any published test result stays bound to the detector versions and date it was run, rather than being silently re-blessed.

Reporting an issue

If you find an error anywhere on this site, email support@wibbleai.com with a link to the page and what you believe is wrong. We verify against sources, fix what fails verification, and note material corrections as described above. You do not need to be right for us to look — flagging something is enough.
